Lilly-Purdue 360 announcement garners extensive media coverage

The Lilly-Purdue 360 announcement on Friday (May 9) achieved significant media attention. Purdue and Eli Lilly announced an expansion of their long-standing academic agreement with Lilly’s planned investment of up to $250 million to the collaboration over the next eight years.
The announcement generated more than 350 media hits nationwide, including about 90 hits in Indiana alone. Lilly scholar Jason Thiagarajan and agricultural and biological engineering assistant professor Kurt Ristroph were featured in media coverage.
The Lilly-Purdue 360 Initiative supports Purdue’s One Health initiative, which advances knowledge and innovation related to animal, human and plant well-being through novel interdisciplinary initiatives and partnerships with industry.
