Undergraduate Research Expo accepting research talk and poster abstract submissions

Undergraduate students are invited to submit their abstracts by Oct. 14 to present a talk or poster on their research or creative endeavors during Purdue’s 2026 Fall Undergraduate Research Expo.

The fall expo is a hybrid event showcasing undergraduate research with students delivering presentations from Nov. 16-20. Undergraduate researchers and scholars from all disciplines are encouraged to participate in this formally judged event. Prizes will be provided for top presentations.

The in-person poster symposium will be on Nov. 17 with five potential sessions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Purdue Memorial Union ballrooms.

In-person talks will be Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Stewart Center, Rooms 214, 218 and 278.

Throughout the Nov. 16-20 event, the virtual conference will host recorded presentations on the expo website.

Faculty, staff and graduate students who are interested in judging posters, talks or virtual presentations can register on the expo’s judging information page. Training is provided on the judging site.

Students who participate will disseminate research results, gain valuable feedback from the Purdue community, and network with other participants, all vital steps in the learning process of engaging in a research experience.

Undergraduate research conferences are organized by the Office of Undergraduate Research with representatives from colleges and units on the undergraduate research planning committee.
