Upgrade introduces new functionality for SuccessFactors profiles

SuccessFactors recently implemented an upgrade that introduced two new functions for employee profiles: Profile Preview and Spotlight.

Profile Preview provides a snapshot of key areas of the employee profile, including job, manager, location and contact details. When searching for a person, the profile preview will appear on the right instead of opening the full profile. The Spotlight displays additional information including organization details, upcoming time off and reporting line.

The Profile Preview and Spotlight Quick Reference Guide outlines further details, including an overview, how to navigate to the full profile, editing the profile preview and background, and accessing the Org Chart.

The upgrade also introduced a new Org Chart experience with a refreshed look and feel, available on both mobile and desktop devices. Users can explore their organizational structure with streamlined expand and collapse capabilities. In addition, users can quickly navigate to an employee’s Profile Preview, with an option to open the new Spotlight view of the person’s profile.
