Human Resources’ One Hour with HR learning session will cover internal growth at Purdue for its March topic.

“Navigating Career Paths at Purdue: From Role to Growth” will demystify Purdue’s job structure while providing practical steps to explore career mobility. Attendees will learn how to use tools like talent profiles, Career Path Maker and development plans to grow with the university — whether by deepening expertise in their current role, preparing for advancement or exploring adjacent opportunities. The session will also include real examples of staff who have progressed through internal opportunities and guidance on using AI tools like Copilot to support career planning and development conversations.

The session will be held at 11 a.m. March 24. Online registration is available. Once registered, the Teams link for the session will be sent in a separate email.

Additional upcoming sessions include:

  • April 28: “AI at Work: Making Everyday Tasks Smarter”
  • May 19: “Conversations that Empower: Building a Coaching Mindset in Higher Education”
  • June 23: “Moving Forward”
