Isabelle Akins
Purdue Global recently launched a Doctor of Business Administration program. This new program required careful and sometimes complicated collaboration to establish new processes supporting students and advisors. I want to thank Isabelle (Business — Student Operations) for her open mind and creativity as our departments worked together through new spaces to model efficient and effective services. I am confident that I emailed her too many times, but I am really grateful that she and our colleagues in the School of Business and Information Technology were willing to work together. We took a really messy knot and pulled it into straight lines, and we did it together. Thanks, Isabelle! — Allegra Fowler (Articulation)
Josh Anderson and the College of Education IT team
Registration is a critical time for advisors, so when I started having issues with my laptop I was concerned. Josh (IT End User Experience) picked up my laptop and was able to replicate the issues I was having. He gave it a tuneup, which fixed the problem, and had it back to me in just a few hours. I’m thankful for his quick attention and that we are all housed in the same building! Our IT folks are amazing! — Lavonna Kuhn (Education)
Trevor Miller
A huge thank-you to Trevor Miller (Operations and Maintenance). Zone 4 is very fortunate to have him! Trevor constantly goes beyond expectations in stepping up to help others, borne out by his decisive approach and solid work principles. He continually completes his duties swiftly and makes sure they meet the customers’ requests. Thank you, Trevor! — Teresa Remaly (Center for Career Opportunities)
Jerry Munn
Jerry (Operations and Maintenance) in the electrical shop was sent over to investigate a power issue with a jockey pump. Jerry found the power was fine; it was a mechanical issue with the switch. Jerry took the time to repair the nonelectrical issue with the switch, saving the jockey pump from overheating. Thanks, Jerry! — Jay Conner (Fire Equipment Services)
Heather Holley
Heather (Bursar) has always been an excellent colleague, consistently willing to help out at a moment’s notice. Most recently, she went above and beyond to help our department untangle a processing error that was discovered. Thanks for always being a great campus partner and all-around great person, Heather. — Russell Tragesser (Financial Aid)
