Toastmasters, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ actress to host free workshop on presentation skills

Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a free presentation skills workshop sponsored by Toastmasters at Purdue from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 30) in Forney Hall, Room 3059.

Hosted by Anna Crichlow, an actress in the Feb. 2-3 production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” presented by Purdue Convocations, the workshop will feature practice games and exercises related to showmanship, body language, vocal variety and voice projection. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session with Crichlow.

A virtual option is available, and a Zoom link can be requested using the “contact us” form on the Toastmasters at Purdue website.

Toastmasters at Purdue is a professional development club that meets weekly and is affiliated with Toastmasters International, a nonprofit organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.
