Transition to new preferred vendor for promotional items, apparel and awards begins today
Purdue’s Trademarks and Licensing and Supplier Diversity departments have created a new partnership with UN Promotional Solutions Inc., a woman-owned business in Carmel, Indiana, to serve as the university’s preferred one-stop vendor for promotional items, departmental apparel and other items like awards and plaques.
As the initial step in the transition, all academic and nonacademic areas can now begin using UN Promotional Solutions Inc. as the first source for all branded giveaway items such as these:
- Office products, e.g. pens, notebooks, earbuds
- Kitchenware, e.g. water bottles, tumblers, koozies
- Gifts, e.g. paperweights, picture frames
- Bags, e.g. drawstring bags, backpacks
- Apparel, e.g. T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats
- Other giveaway items, e.g. stickers, magnets, key chains, silicone bracelets
Products with either the Purdue signature logo or select approved co-branded logos are available via the online catalog after registering as a new user with a purdue.edu email address.
The preferred ordering method is through Ariba as non-catalog purchase orders, though purchases with a Purdue University Purchasing Card (P Card) may be made through the site. All promotional orders must meet Purdue Brand Guidelines.
If desired items are unavailable through UN Promotional Solutions Inc., units may use an approved internal licensee.
Procurement Services and business offices will work with areas to transition orders for departmental apparel and award items from current vendors to UN Promotional Solutions Inc. over the coming months.
Athletic apparel remains available through the Purdue Team Store and other retail locations.
Additional information is available on the Procurement Services website. Questions may be directed to trademarklicensing@purdue.edu.
This change contributes to Purdue’s ability to meet the Indiana Department of Administration’s supplier diversity spend goals as established for institutions that receive state funding.
