CILMAR to hold virtual training for Beliefs, Events and Values Inventory administrators
The Center for Intercultural Learning, Mentorship, Assessment and Research (CILMAR) will hold a virtual training seminar for BEVI administrators from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 7-9.
The BEVI, or Beliefs, Events and Values Inventory, is an assessment used widely across campus to measure development of intercultural competence, critical thinking, emotional resilience, attitudes toward the environment and gender, and more.
Purdue maintains an institutional license for unlimited administrations of the BEVI, which makes the instrument a cost-effective, large-scale solution in both formative (to support learning) and summative (to document learning) assessment designs.
With Purdue’s discount, the current fee for BEVI training is $750, and scholarships are available from CILMAR for potential participants whose professional development funding is limited.
Registration deadline is Sept. 5. To register or inquire about scholarships, email cilmar@purdue.edu.
