Purdue University Global commencement set for Saturday
More than 1,600 graduates will take part in Purdue University Global commencement ceremonies Saturday (May 21).
Two in-person ceremonies are scheduled at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre in Indianapolis – 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. ET – followed by a virtual ceremony at 6 p.m.
The graduates reside in all 50 states – including 281 Indiana residents and 46 from Indianapolis – plus Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands, as well as Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, China, Japan and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Chancellor Frank Dooley will address the graduates – 885 of them in-person and 745 virtually.
Derrick Howell-McQueen, a financial coach and licensed minister born and raised in Indianapolis, will provide the keynote address. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Purdue University Global in 2021.
Saturday will mark Purdue University Global’s 13th commencement since its formation in 2018 and the third in Indianapolis.
