New on campus: Celebrating giant leaps with alumna banner

Operations and Maintenance staff on Tuesday (May 10) installed a new banner featuring Purdue alumna Sirisha Bandla on Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering. Bandla, who earned her bachelor’s degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering in 2011, became the 26th Purdue alumni in the Cradle of Astronauts with her suborbital flight on Virgin Galactic's VSS Unity on July 11, 2021.
