Parking to be restricted near Córdova Recreational Sports Center on Thursday, Friday

Parking for A, B and C permit holders will be restricted south of Stadium Avenue and near the Córdova Recreational Sports Center on Thursday and Friday (Feb. 24-25). These parking restrictions are due to the NCAA swimming and diving competitions at the adjacent Morgan J. Burke Boilermaker Aquatic Center.

As shown on the map at right, parking will be restricted in the lot southwest of the Stadium Avenue and North Martin Jischke Drive intersection. The lots directly west and east of the primary Córdova Recreational Sports Center lot will be unavailable, along with some paid meter spaces. Motorists should obey posted signage.

The main Córdova Recreational Sports Center parking lot will remain available for A, B and C permit holders. Alternate A permit parking is available in the University Street Parking Garage. A number of nearby surface lots, including one north of Wiley Residence Hall and another south of Shreve Residence Hall, will serve as alternate parking for B permits. Alternate parking for C permit holders is available in the lot north of Ross-Ade Stadium or in the Discovery Park lot at the southwest corner of South Martin Jischke Drive and Harrison Street. Motorists should reference parking locations on the online parking map.

CityBus service may be available from alternate parking locations or close by to aid in getting motorists to their final destinations. All campus route maps and schedules are available on the CityBus website. CityBus also offers real-time GPS tracking of buses on the Where Is the Bus? webpage or on the MyCityBus mobile app. The correct wearing of face masks is required while riding CityBus.
