Virtual assistance on Medicare, Social Security, impact on health savings accounts available
In preparation for 2022 benefits open enrollment, virtual presentations and one-on-one assistance designed for those 62 and over, and focused on Medicare, Social Security and the impact those could have on health savings accounts (HSAs), are available.
Resources available to employees:
- The “Thinking about Medicare?” video shows employees how Medicare and Social Security affect their Purdue health coverage and HSA.
- Virtual presentations will be offered on the dates and times listed below. Register for the presentation by clicking on the desired date to attend. There is no registration deadline.
- Virtual one-on-one meetingswith a benefits specialist are available for those who have additional questions or questions that are specific to their personal situation. One-on-one meetings are still available virtually via Microsoft Teams on Oct. 22, Oct. 27 and Nov. 2. Schedule online: Select "Medicare, Social Security and Preparing for Retirement,” choose a date and time, enter contact information and include information on the topics to discuss in the notes box.
