Post-contract updates follow Anthem, Parkview agreement

After Anthem and Parkview Health System reached an agreement to keep Parkview in-network, some post-contract activity is taking place that may temporarily affect members.

In preparation for the Parkview contract termination, Parkview providers were terminated from the provider directory and are in the process of being added back. It may take up to six weeks for online directories to be updated. In the meantime, members can contact Anthem Health Guides at 855-502-6365 to find a Parkview provider.

Parkview will be holding claims with a date of service from July 29 forward while rates are updated for the new contract, and Anthem also has initiated a claim hold to be certain no claims are processed. The updates are expected to take a few weeks, and when those are complete, claims will be submitted and processed as normal.
