Purdue, State of Indiana praised by Intel Security for Pathmaker collaboration

Recently at the RSA Conference, the world's largest in cybersecurity, Chris Young, Intel Security Group general manager, lauded the work Purdue and the State of Indiana are doing in preparing students for careers in cybersecurity through the Purdue Pathmaker Internship Program.

Purdue, the State of Indiana, and Intel Security are partnering in an innovative security operations center, located in the Purdue Research Park, which provides real-time network monitoring, vulnerability identification and threat warnings of state government computer systems. Also speaking at the conference was Morgan Mayernik, a Purdue freshman materials engineering student who is also involved in the Purdue Pathmaker program.
