Engagement and Service-Learning Summit set for March 10

The Office of Engagement, Center for Instructional Excellence and Purdue Honors College will host the Engagement and Service-Learning Summit from 1 to 6 p.m. March 10 at the Hall for Discovery and Learning Research.

The summit serves to bring together faculty, students, staff and community partners to discuss best practices in engagement and service learning, highlight accomplishments and increase collaboration opportunities. The agenda will include speakers addressing the scholarship of engagement as it relates to promotion and/or tenure, and the state of service learning at Purdue. Interactive breakout sessions facilitated by expert faculty members and community partners will follow, and a student showcase and poster session in conjunction with a networking happy hour and hors d'oeuvres will conclude the event.

Abstracts for poster presentations at the summit must be submitted by March 4. Summit registration is due March 8. To register and to submit an abstract, visit www.conf.purdue.edu/landing_pages/network.
