Area Plan Commission to conduct pedestrian count on State Street

The Area Plan Commission of Tippecanoe County will be conducting a pedestrian count program at specific locations on State Street on Tuesday-Thursday (March 22-24).

The count will be 8 to 9 a.m., noon to 1 p.m. and 3 to 4 p.m. in several locations.

The locations are:

* The intersection of State and Marsteller streets on Tuesday (March 22).

* The intersection of State and Grant streets on Wednesday (March 23).

* The intersection of State Street and Northwestern Avenue on Thursday (March 24).

APC staff will count pedestrians in each crossing place of each intersection in 15-minute increments. The staff will have proper identification should any official or pedestrian have questions about what they are doing.
