Purdue University Board of Trustees meeting recap
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Purdue University Board of Trustees on Friday (Aug. 7) approved its 10-year capital projects plan, a strategic document running through 2037 that will inform the university’s capital request to the state for the upcoming legislative session and beyond.
In other action, trustees approved 2027 health plans that will feature no premium increases for employees and long-term disability members — after back-to-back years of increases.
The board also approved named professorships and deanships, distinguished professors, the appointment of the new director of Intercollegiate Athletics, and resolutions of appreciation and namings, among its actions.
