IPAI to host AI Research Showcase on April 14-15
Event to highlight Purdue’s AI research strengths and foster deeper, more targeted collaboration with industry partners
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — This spring, Purdue University’s Institute for Physical Artificial Intelligence (IPAI), in partnership with the Rosen Center for Advanced Computing, will bring together industry partners, researchers and students to highlight the university’s groundbreaking AI research and explore opportunities for targeted collaboration to solve real-world challenges.
The inaugural Purdue AI Research Showcase, scheduled for April 14-15, will take place in Stewart Center’s Fowler Hall at the West Lafayette location.
The campuswide event is designed to strengthen connections across Purdue’s research community, elevate awareness of institutional expertise and advance interdisciplinary synergies, with a particular emphasis on AI‑related scholarship taking place throughout the university. It provides a formal forum for researchers, students and industry partners to engage with one another, explore emerging partnerships and share ongoing work.
The two-day showcase will offer:
- Keynote and panel discussions from leading experts
- Research demonstrations and displays from Purdue’s leading research centers and institutes advancing AI technologies and applications
- Student poster session
- Hands‑on workshops
- Campus AI resources showcase
Demonstrating Purdue’s national leadership in revolutionary technology, the university created IPAI, the nation’s first research institute dedicated to advancing AI in the physical world.
Physical AI is a core component of Purdue Computes, a comprehensive university initiative that emphasizes four key pillars of Purdue’s extensive technological and computational environment — computing departments, physical AI, quantum science and semiconductor innovation.
The Rosen Center for Advanced Computing partners with Purdue researchers to accelerate discovery, offering cutting‑edge computing systems, expert support and AI‑driven tools that expand what’s possible in data‑intensive research.
