Boiler barns plant Purdue pride around the state

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —

Driving through Indiana, you will find no shortage of beautiful farm fields of corn, soybeans and wheat, and the tall barns catch your eye. While we’ve all seen the typical barn, there are some that are Boilermaker special – barns that put Purdue pride front and center.

Why would someone use Purdue as inspiration for their barn? We stopped in and met three Boilermaker families who share their stories. More about these families and photos of their creative labors is available on “The Persistent Pursuit” website.
