Preventing falls in winter weather – new video uploaded to AP Video Hub
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —
A video featuring Shirley Rietdyk, a professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology in the College of Health and Human Sciences at Purdue University, has been uploaded to the AP Video Hub.
In the video, she explains the risks associated with falling and describes the precautions people should take to prevent falls as winter weather spreads, with snowstorms hitting areas that traditionally may have only received a minor dusting.
