Mortar Board accepting applications for Awards Match Program for student organizations
The Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board is accepting applications for its Awards Match Program, which offers financial and administrative support to student organizations that wish to establish their own awards.
The program encourages the development of new scholarships and awards for undergraduate students on Purdue’s West Lafayette campus by giving anywhere from $100-$500 to a student organization to match the dollar amount they would like to commit to create a new award.
Faculty and staff who work with student organizations are encouraged to share information about the program with those who might be interested.
Mortar Board will assist the selected student organization in developing a scholarship or award application and creating an unbiased and diverse selection committee.
To apply for the program, the organization should have an understanding of the characteristics, experiences or classification of the applicants they would like to honor with an award.
Applications should be completed on BoilerLink by Oct. 31. For more information, contact Anna Hampton at hampto26@purdue.edu.
