$mart Money Summer Ab7G Program 2022

Register Today

The Purdue, Algebra by 7th Grade (Ab7G) academic year program was piloted in 2017 to increase the number of underrepresented 7th-grade students in the U.S. that are academically prepared to take algebra; a goal born out of a nationally recognized need to increase the number of minorities qualified and interested in pursuing STEM careers.

To date, the Minority Engineering Program has welcomed more than 100 elementary students in the program! Starting in the 3rd grade, Ab7G families meet at Purdue University to engage with mentors and staff in math mastery exercises and exciting hands-on projects. The Summer Ab7G program was created to present an excellent opportunity for year-round engagement with elementary student participants.
