she/her

Emily advises for exchange and direct enroll programs in Asia (China, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey) and Europe (Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland).

Emily received her B.S in Human Development and Family Studies from Kent State University and holds an MAEd in Leadership in Higher Education from Baldwin Wallace University. She studied abroad in Florence, Italy for a semester during her sophomore year.

Her love for travel began when she spontaneously decided to study abroad in Italy. Since departing for Florence, Emily has travelled to thirteen countries, discovering the wonders and intricacies of other cultures. After returning home from her travels, Emily's excitement for exploration developed because of the guidance of the study abroad advisors at her alma mater. She began her Masters program with the hopes of eventually working in global education and is excited to be at Purdue- helping students achieve their study abroad goals.

Studying abroad is an impactful opportunity to explore the world, learn about yourself, and gain appreciation for what makes other cultures unique. Emily is thrilled to be able to support students throughout the process, and looks forward to seeing the amazing experiences students have abroad!
