Purdue Student Farm Organization

About Our Club

The Purdue Student Farm Organization (PSFO) is a student-led organization that assists in the daily operations of the farm. Our goal is to educate anyone  who is willing to learn about sustainable agriculture and production on a small farm through guest speakers, engaging in conversations, and most importantly, hands-on experience. Members get to participate in planting, pruning, harvesting, and more. In the spring, we spend a lot of time in the greenhouses seeding out plants and propagating cuttings for Spring Fest, our annual fundraiser. There are no dues to join, and no experience in agriculture required.

We meet weekly on Tuesdays at 6 pm, typically at the Student Farm (weather permitting) or in the Horticulture Greenhouses. The PSFO also hosts its own events outside of the farm, especially in the off-season. Previous events have included craft nights, study nights, guest speakers, and running (or walking) a pumpkin run 5k.

The farm is within biking distance to campus, or you can drive. For more information on meeting times or any other questions, you can contact the current president through Boilerlink here.
