The new College of Health and Human Sciences at Purdue University was launched on July 1, 2010. The new college brings together nine existing academic units on campus in an effort to enhance student opportunities and promote faculty collaborations aimed at improving health and quality of life.
The realignment supports the University’s “New Synergies” strategic plan that focuses on positioning Purdue to meet the challenges facing humanity, economic development, and enhancing student learning for success in a changing world.
The new college is the third largest at Purdue with nearly 5,000 undergraduates, over 500 graduate students, and 200 faculty.
