Li Lab

Welcome to the Li lab! We are interested in studying how crop metabolic networks respond to environmental and developmental stimuli at transcriptional and chromatin levels. Understanding these regulatory systems is vital to agriculture productivity and environmental sustainability.

We apply cutting-edge molecular tools and computational approaches to probe gene regulatory networks underlying environmental and developmental responses. We harness the power of omics to develop a comprehensive understanding of plant responses at both transcriptional and epigenetic levels, with the ultimate goal of identifying key molecular players to engineer better crops for the changing environment.
