Ian Kelly’s Study Abroad Update

Ian Kelly, our Horticulture undergraduate student on Study Abroad this semester, has sent us another update from his adventures in Dublin, Ireland:

I’ve been hitting the road or, in this case, tracks really. The natural beauty of the Aran Islands and the heritage sites like Dún Aonghasa over by Galway were really interesting! Then I visited what some people consider the “true capital” of Ireland, Cork. However I don’t think Cork had as big of a Saint Patrick’s Day event as Dublin did. The parade was lively and after seeing all the American marching bands pass by I wondered if Purdue ever was part of it – fun fact it was in 2018!
