“Chew on This” Event Features Partnership between Purdue Student Farm and the Cultural Center Gardens

Attendees helps to work the soil for planting in a raised bed plot at the "Chew on This" event.

The Education Committee in the Diversity Action Team in Agriculture organized a “Chew On This” event on April 21 at the  Asian American and Asian Resource and Cultural Center. The Purdue community was invited to help plant a culturally-themed garden and to learn more about the partnership between the Purdue Student Farm and the Cultural Center Gardens. Chris Adair, Purdue Student Farm Manager, will lead work to prepare some container gardens with herbs, Bok Choi and Pak Choy. Members from the Latino Cultural Center and Native American Educational and Cultural Center also attended.
