Purdue’s White Lodging–J.W. Marriott, Jr. School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) is proud to announce the debut of its hospitality and tourism management program at Purdue’s Indianapolis expansion beginning in Fall 2026.

This expansion brings one of the nation’s top-ranked HTM programs to the heart of Indiana’s capital city, offering students the opportunity to learn and thrive in a hub of hospitality, tourism, and events. With Indianapolis’ vibrant hotel, restaurant, sports, and convention industries, the new location provides an unparalleled setting for experiential learning and professional growth.

Dr. Ceridwyn King, White Lodging Services head and professor and associate dean of Indianapolis and strategic initiatives, emphasized the significance of the move.

“This is an exciting next chapter for Purdue HTM,” said Dr. King. “Our presence in Indianapolis means students can study in the classroom and then immediately apply those skills with industry partners just steps away. It’s the perfect way to leverage everything that the Purdue brand and HTM have but offer it in a different way to expand our impact.”

The Indianapolis expansion reflects Purdue’s commitment to creating access and opportunity while responding to the state’s growing demand for hospitality and tourism professionals. Students enrolled in the program will benefit from the same renowned faculty expertise, innovative curriculum, and industry connections that define HTM in West Lafayette, now with the added advantage of a vibrant, metropolitan learning environment.

Applications for the Fall 2026 inaugural class in Indianapolis are currently being accepted through the Common App system.
