ENTR 46000 (Internship and Career Preparation Seminar)
The purpose of this one credit course is to provide an academic underpinning to internship and professional development experiences. Students will gain an understanding of economic, business, social and intellectual forces that impact work experiences. They will use tools and resources to illustrate their skills, talents, abilities and goals to enhance career preparedness.
Offered fall, spring and summer – Digital Education Online Learning

OUTCOMES
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Develop their professional brand through an improved LinkedIn profile, resume review, interviewing skills, and networking.
- Improve self-awareness of professional skills development through assessments and reflection.
- Showcase their educational and professional skills in an e-portfolio.

ENTR 47000A (Women and Leadership)
The purpose of this course is to provide a social and historical perspective of women in leadership, as well as the practical skills students can use to develop their own leadership abilities. This team-taught and highly interactive course provides the opportunity for students to meet with women leaders from a variety of organizations. Topics of social, political, and economic interest are covered, as are discussions of current issues and research relevant to leadership success.
OUTCOMES
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Define the social, cultural, organizational and historical dimensions of gender and leadership.
- Identify contemporary gender and leadership issues.
- Practice communication, negotiation, and other skills relevant to leadership success.
