X-Ray Radiation Units: Analytical and Diagnostic

X-Ray radiation units used at Purdue University may be classified as either analytical or diagnostic. Both types of systems are sources of ionization radiation when they are operational; therefore, the requirements regarding their use are strictly enforced in accordance with the Indiana State regulations and the restrictions of Purdue's Radiation Safety Office. All X-Ray unit users must complete the required X-Ray Safety Training, and submit a completed Form A-4 to the Radiation Safety Office prior to approval for the use of these systems.

The Form A-4 may be sent through campus mail to: Sharon Rudolph/REM/HAMP
