Desktop Alerts
Desktop popup alerts are part of the PurdueALERT emergency warning notification system at the West Lafayette location. They will be activated when a safety threat is present. More information is available below for when the system is activated.
The desktop popup alert will:
- Take over a computer that is logged into a Purdue account and display an alert message.
- Clicking the "Enter" key will acknowledge the alert and allow the user to return to the normal screen.
