Dr. Schaber received his Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. His doctoral project involved analyzing quorum sensing variants of Pseudomonas aeruginosa within both in vitro and in vivo models with respect to biofilm formation. Dr. Schaber moved directly into the imaging industry selling and supporting imaging equipment within the Texas Medical Center and the US east coast with companies such as Nikon Instruments, JAI and Essen Bioscience. Dr. Schaber is interested in implementing in vivo models in advanced imaging modalities as well as novel approaches to learning and education on instrumentation.
