Enter Now and Win!  Disease Diagnostic INventors Challenge – May 24, 2019

The Disease Diagnostic INventors Challenge provides funding to focus measurement science and engineering creativity at Purdue, IU, IBRI and Notre Dame on innovations with the potential to address unmet biomedical needs.  Register your team today to win up to $30,000 in proof of concept research funding.   Several teams will win!

Your team will be asked to make a short presentation (3-slides) addressing any biomedical need, including any of the 7 needs identified at the December 20th, 2018 DDIN event at IU School of Medicine (link).

Teams are encouraged to present their proposals in person before a panel of judges at IUSM in Indianapolis, but remote videoconferencing participation will also be possible to accommodate busy schedules.  Teams should consist of at least one measurement science researcher/engineer working in conjunction with one clinical researcher.  Inter-university collaboration is encouraged, but not required.

Please email your intent to participate with a short title and 1-page description to Tommy Sors and Chris Welchbefore May 1.  Apply today to secure your team’s slot in the competition!
