Emergency Preparedness

Campus Emergency Preparedness and Planning Office oversees the emergency preparedness and planning activities for the main campus.  The office is tasked with the oversight of the University’s Integrated Emergency Management Plan and Plan Attachments (including the At-Risk Population Plan) which will be used in the event a natural disaster or human-made incident strikes campus.  The goal is to provide a means to utilize all available resources to PREPARE for potential emergencies or disasters whenever possible and deal efficiently with the effects of inevitable events, RESPOND to save lives and protect property, and promote a means to RECOVER mission critical business and academic operations.

  • Anyone needing additional assistance during an emergency is encouraged to fill out the Voluntary Registry for Persons Requesting Additional Assistance form and send it to the Purdue Fire Department.
