Workforce Development

The CQT will help train the next generation of quantum scientists and engineers to meet the demand for a robust quantum workforce.

The CQT will engage students by leveraging well-established programs at each of the four universities to engage and support students, including those traditionally underrepresented in STEM disciplines. During their engagement in CQT, students will gain exposure to and experience doing critical quantum science and engineering research. Additionally, the CQT will offer students the opportunity to take on many of the responsibilities of a principal investigator, including drafting proposals, presenting research updates to industry members, and planning meetings and workshops.
