Today’s research fuels tomorrow’s cancer treatments

At the Purdue Center for Cancer Research, we specialize in research that saves lives by translating laboratory findings into new and innovative therapies as quickly as possible. Through private support like yours, we are able to move discoveries forward from the lab to the clinic.

It is only through generous donations from individuals and organizations that we are able to continue our mission, and you can contribute directly to PCCR’s most important endeavors.

Tyler Trent Cancer Research Endowment

The Tyler Trent Cancer Research Endowment, created in honor of beloved Purdue superfan Tyler Trent, will fund cancer research at the Purdue Center for Cancer Research (PCCR) — and donations will generously be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Walther Cancer Foundation.

Walther Cancer Foundation Matching Endowment

The Walther Cancer Foundation Matching Endowment allows PCCR the most flexibility — it doubles its gifts and we can direct it toward areas with the most need.

Jordan-Rieger Fund for Pancreatic Cancer

The Jordan-Rieger Fund for Pancreatic Cancer supports our research in one of the most difficult cancers to diagnose. Researchers at PCCR are dedicated to improving patients’ access to earlier treatment, revolutionizing the future of pancreatic cancer patients’ prognosis.

Vision of Hope — Women’s Cancer Research

The Women’s Cancer Research fund helps sustain our ability to provide the research needed to fight ovarian, breast and cervical cancer.

The Challenge Fund

This Challenge Fund  supports a grant awarded annually to a researcher at PCCR to kick-start an innovative research project.

Tim’s Twigs Cancer Research Projects

Tim’s Twigs is a strategic research initiative that funds startup projects that otherwise might never launch. Once these projects are funded, they’re more likely to attract larger grants in the future.

Memorial and Honorary Gifts

To name PCCR as a charity for a memorial, please use the address below. Checks can be made out to the Purdue Research Foundation (using the memo PCCR and the individual’s name). Please notify us if you designate the center so that we may notify you of gifts received.

  • Please note “PCCR” in memo.

Purdue University Center for Cancer Research: Unrestricted

These gifts allow PCCR the flexibility to meet the Center’s most urgent needs. Unrestricted gifts are rare, but deeply appreciated.

If you’d like to discuss supporting a research fund, or a personal cancer research goal, please contact our development office.
