Elyse Boutall

Calm, confident and deeply intentional in her craft, Elyse Boutall brings a thoughtful approach to visual storytelling as associate creative director at Purdue Brand Studio. She leads a team of designers and photographers, creating work that captures the energy, spirit and impact of Purdue through compelling, multichannel creative. 

A graduate of Purdue University Fort Wayne, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design and a degree in business, Elyse built her career in the retail and boutique space, shaping visual identities for brands such as Vera Bradley and Matilda Jane. That experience sharpened her ability to connect brand strategy with cohesive, visually engaging storytelling across platforms — from large-scale photo and video shoots to immersive brand experiences. 

At Purdue, Elyse partners closely with creative and strategy teams to bring campaigns to life, always with an eye for detail and a commitment to authenticity. She is especially passionate about mentoring emerging creatives and fostering a collaborative environment where ideas can grow and talent can thrive — and brings that same intentionality to every stage of the creative process, from concept through execution. 

Based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, hiking, reading, and sharing quality time with her dachshund and three kids.
