Space Administration has a systematic process for inventorying, allocating, planning, designing and maintaining the space portfolio. Our goal is to be able to determine what space meets the needs of our colleges and departments while also meeting university’s space standards.
In order to realize this goal, Space Administration provides the following services:
- Receive and assess all space requests
- Implement short-term departmental space strategies by developing recommendations that align with the campus master plan, departmental master plans and other approved studies
- Continuously assess the campus space inventory through audits and utilization
- Determine the highest and best uses of space across the campus inventory
- Conduct building space programming in conjunction with capital projects
To begin the process for a real estate project, review the “How to Request a Project” section below.
How to Request a Project
- Talk to us. Before getting too far down the path on your own, let our subject matter experts help guide you along the way.
- Complete the Space Request Form. The form will help describe your request in detail and provide a point-of-contact so we can get back to you.
- Work with us. After we’ve received your Space Request, we’ll be in contact with you to ensure we have all the necessary information.
- Begin the Project. Once we understand and have all the appropriate details about your request, we’ll begin a project by assigning a team or individual to your request.
