More About Our Services

Supplemental Instruction

SI offers free weekly study sessions for some of the toughest courses on campus. Study sessions are led by students who have successfully completed the course. For a full list and schedule of SI-linked courses, check out purdue.edu/si or download the PurdueGuide app.

Academic Consultations

Want to learn how to better manage your time and combat procrastination? Interested in developing more effective study strategies? Consultations with ASC staff members allow you to create a personalized action plan either in a single visit or multiple sessions. During this one-on-one conversation, you'll clarify your vision of academic success and receive guidance on how to make that vision a reality.

Peer Success Coaching

A Peer Success Coach (PSC) is a point person who offers guidance and accountability as you navigate life at Purdue. PSCs are typically upperclassmen who are trained to coach and motivate you through any challenges you may face while working toward your goals. They help you gain insights and ideas along the way. You can meet with a PSC throughout the semester or periodically during drop-in hours.

Workshops

Attending an ASC workshop is a great way to jump-start the process of achieving your goals. These 60-minute sessions cover skills such as time management, exam preparation, smarter study plans and more in a low-pressure, group learning environment.
