Portion of Waldon Street set to close through June 2026

A portion of Waldon Street located between Fifth and Sixth streets is set to close Monday (March 17) to facilitate construction work on the new Chi Omega sorority house. The closure is expected to last through June 2026.

The closure will also include parking spaces located along this portion of Waldron Street.

Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists should continue to use caution in the area, obey all posted signs and seek alternate routes, including the utilization of Russell and University streets.
