Free active threat training sessions still available during the month of November

The Purdue University Police and Fire departments are offering free, in-person classes on potential active threats and STOP THE BLEED training on Nov. 28.

Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events, or CRASE, classes provide strategies, guidance and plan options for surviving an active threat event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, and preparing in advance what your response will be.

For more information about the training and how to register, review a recent Purdue Today article.
