Space Administration shares tips and tricks for FM:S space management system

The Space Administration department is providing various tips and tricks for the FM:S system, the university’s space management software.

The first tip the department would like to share is how to open multiple sessions within FM:S. Opening multiple sessions allows the user to have a floor plan open in a separate view while filling out a Move Request form in another view. This can help speed up and simplify the process of filing out a Move Request form by avoiding the need to switch back and forth between views within a single session.

To accomplish this, hover the cursor over the navigation icons at the left of the home page and then right click on the mouse to see options. Click on Open Link in New Tab or Open Link in New Window.
