Remove outdated Protect Purdue signs from building interiors

As a reminder, Building Deputies are asked to remove all temporary interior building signage related to face masks, maximum occupancy and social distancing requirements, except where still required in healthcare settings. Face masks became optional in classrooms and research spaces earlier this year, and related signage is no longer needed.

The following areas of buildings were common locations for Protect Purdue signage to be placed: classrooms, research laboratories, instructional spaces, elevators, conference rooms, restrooms and common spaces. Please assess your facility for other locations where outdated signage may need to be removed.

Signs remain available for download on the Protect Purdue Operational Building Signs webpage for healthcare settings that continue to require the wearing of face masks.
