New VPN sign-in before login feature available for those working remotely

Please review the following message from ITaP about a VPN sign-in feature:

ITaP recommends the Cisco AnyConnect Software’s Sign-in Before Login (SBL) feature for anyone working off campus using a CSDS-supported computer. SBL provides a way to establish a VPN connection to Purdue before Windows attempts to map any drives that would require a VPN connection to be able to access them. If you are working from home and have seen the error stating that “Windows cannot map your network drives,” then SBL was designed for you. The sign-in option is located at the bottom of the Windows login screen (represented by an icon that looks like two monitors).
