Four-way stop to be installed at Grant and Williams streets

The intersection of Grant and Williams streets will be converted from a two-way stop to a four-way stop next week.

Crews will install the additional stop signs on Thursday (Feb. 20). There will be message boards in the area warning motorists and pedestrians of the change.

The four-way stop will remain in place during the construction of the Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital. Completion of all construction is scheduled for summer of 2022.

Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians should use caution in the area, obey flaggers and all posted signs, and remain alert as all modes of transportation adjust to the new traffic signs.
