Restrictions around Hanley Hall Saturday, others ongoing through July

On or after May 16, the following areas around Hanley Hall (HNLY) will be closed through July 31:

  • Section of First Street directly north of the HNLY parking lot

  • Parking and vehicular access along the drive between HNLY and First Street Towers East

  • Section of sidewalk along State Street, south of the abovementioned access drive. Pedestrians will be shifted to the bicycle lane, and bicyclists should walk their bikes

While parking is restricted nearby, individuals dropping off or picking up children from the Ben and Maxine Miller childcare may utilize additional parking on the east side of Duhme Drive as shown on the map.

On Saturday (May 18), the parking lot directly north of HNLY and the adjacent section of sidewalk along First Street will be temporarily closed. These areas are expected to be available by the following day.

All work is weather dependent, and the schedules may shift accordingly.

Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians should exercise caution in the vicinity and obey all posted signs.

Questions may be directed to Jake Denecke, senior project manager, at (765) 494-6721 or jdenecke@purdue.edu.
