Professional Development for Department Heads

Big 10 Academic Leadership Program
This program is a broad-based learning experience that develops the leadership and managerial skills of faculty who have demonstrated exceptional ability and administrative promise.

Big 10 Department Executive Officer Program 
This program is a unique, three-day leadership development seminar including approximately 50 department heads and chairs from Big 10 universities

Provost Fellows 
Provost Fellows are selected annually to work on specific administrative projects. Up to five faculty who have demonstrated leadership potential and have an interest in administration will be chosen. Click here to learn more about the program and application process.
