March 16 Colleges nominate junior fellows and senior mentors
March Selection committee (CIE representative, CIE faculty fellow, former TfT senior mentor, and former TfT junior fellow) chooses participants
April Reception for fellows and mentors completing their year (panel discussion of what they experienced) and newly selected fellows and mentors, during Celebration of Teaching week
May Senior mentors meet to plan for the next year
July 1st Senior mentors submit plan for the next year
August Breakfast meeting for all junior fellows and senior mentors with CIE rep
Fall Semester 3 meetings of each small group
December large group meeting with CIE rep for midway report
Spring Semester 3 meetings of each small group
April Panel discussion on the year's results during Celebration of Teaching week

Assuming active participation, fellows receive their funds in December (half) and April (half).

Senior fellows are expected to observe each member of their small group (typically 3-5 junior fellows) once during the school year.

Ideas for monthly meetings: lunch and discussion about teaching, attend a class that features and innovative teacher or technique, visit a facility on campus related to teaching, invite a guest speaker with expertise on some teaching-related topic, learn about a new learning technology, visit an IMPACT class, visit a center on campus with teaching/learning connections, get an introduction to a VideoExpress lab.
