Three-day virtual Road to Retirement conference to begin on Wednesday

The fall 2021 Road to Retirement three-day virtual conference, which supports the financial wellness pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program, will kick off Wednesday (Sept. 22) and run through Friday (Sept. 24). Resources will be available to employees to help them plan for a successful retirement, no matter where they are on their retirement planning path.

Purdue record for the whitest paint appears in latest edition of 'Guinness World Records'

Want to save big on your air conditioning bills? Wait a few years to coat your home with the world’s whitest paint, which may dramatically reduce or even eliminate the need for air conditioning. The paint, developed at Purdue, has earned a Guinness World Records title. The record appears in the 2022 edition of Guinness World Records.

Engineering’s Berger steps into inaugural role to lead innovation

The Office of the Provost has announced that Edward Berger has been named the inaugural associate vice provost for learning innovation and director of the Innovation Hub. In his new role, Berger will report to Jenna Rickus, vice provost for teaching and learning, and will focus on the third pillar of Transformative Education 2.0 – enhancing student learning and classroom engagement at scale.

Purdue, Juncos Hollinger Racing partner to drive students into motorsports

Purdue University and Juncos Hollinger Racing have announced a new partnership that will expand experiential education opportunities for Purdue students who want to explore careers in the motorsports, auto and mobility industries. The three-year partnership calls for Purdue to be Juncos Hollinger Racing’s engineering and technology academic partner and establishes internships for Purdue students.
